Kari and Olivia got some roses from Karis parents and sister. They ended up getting HUGE before they finally started to wilt. So I couldn't let em go to waste.
Took some more pictures of Kari and Olivia yesterday. I thought it was funny because the dogs are very much settling into their roles with the baby. Roxie thinks the baby is hers. Everytime Olivia makes any kind of noise, Roxie is right there to get a quick sniff, Kari tells her she's ok, and Roxie goes on with what she was doing. Delilah on the other hand could care less. I took all three of these right after eachother and thought it was funny after looking at them on the computer. Good times!
We went in today for Olivias checkup with her pediatritian(sp) and was given an A++. She is in perfect health and everything thus far is going great!
After getting home from grocery shopping we got some special pieces of mail. We got some wonderful blankets and stuffed bear from Kari's friend Misty! They are so fun! We also got the beginnings of medical bills : ( which was a bit of a downer. We also got her SS card in the mail today, making her existence oddly more official than just the fact that she was born. Now she's on "the grid". haha!
But the best mail of all was from the Hallmark Institute of Photography. I applied for admitance a few weeks ago and was notified by them today that I was accepted!!!! We are still finding out how we're actually going to make this work, but sufice it to say that we are really really excited!!!!!
